EverAfterHigh OC: Gwenhwyfar Swan

EDIT 06/27/2013: I came 2nd with this drawing on a Ever After High Contest on FB! I'm quite happy!


HI there! long time no see! sorry for my absence, lately, but I'm quite busy IRL, and I can't come here as often as I would (nor I draw as often as I would)..but I was finally able to draw something, and I decided to create a character that would fit into the Ever After High World! I've always wanted to create a character that was somehow related to the swans, and especially to one of my most favourite Fairy tale when I was a kid, "The Wild Swans" by Hans Christian Andersen. Since the EAH is a spin-off of the Monster High Franchising, I've decided to underline the connection between the 2 lines by creating a character for the EAH universe but with the MH Style!

NAME: Gwenhwyfar Swan, but almost everyone calls me Gwen

PARENTS: The Youngest Swan Prince (from the “Wild Swans” fairytale)

AGE: 15

KILLER STYLE: Gracefulness Chic! I love to wear dresses that enhance my grace, that are elegant but pratical at the same time. I like to wear feathers as well, in order to be immediately recognized as a Swan Princess. That's why I also prefer light and shiny fabrics, such as silk or satin.

FREAKY FLAW: the fact that my hair are still grey! They won't turn pure white until I reach the adult age, so ,now as now, I really feel like an Ugly Duckling!

FAVOURITE COLOUR: Baby Blue, Baby Pink and Lilac

FAVOURITE FOOD: Apple Strudel with Vanilla Ice cream. And I love to drink Hibiscus Juice!

PET PEEVE: To be confused with that “Swan Lake” girl, Odette! Geez! As if there could be only one swan princess around! Oh, and when people ask me to sing! I mean...have you ever heard a swan singing?

FAVOURITE ACTIVITY: Swimming! But I also love to spend time on my pond shore at home, where I can read peacefully!

PET: Sissi, my little, adorable swan chick. She's always with me!

GFF: Kitty Cheshire and Cerise Hood

FAVOURITE SCHOOL SUBJECT: Home Ec. If I have to follow my fairytale destiny, I will either be turned into a swan or I will have to be the one to save my brothers from being swans by knitting nettles shirt...so it's better if I learn how to knit!

LEAST FAVOURITE SCHOOL SUBJECT: Music! I'm terrible at it! I can't play an instrument or sing a song without going out of tune. It's so embarrassing!
